Therefore, although the word fit may be used a lot, it really depends on who you are thinking of when you say it.
So, how do you know if you are one of those teenagers who have a genetic component that will make them healthier and therefore fit? There are several ways to gauge your level of fitness. One is to keep a written record of the amount of fitness that you are achieving. You can use graph paper and start writing down your fitness goals. Keep track of how far you have come and how far you still need to go.
The other thing that you can do is get yourself fitted for a shoe with a heart rate monitor on it. You can also use a pulse oximeter to measure your blood pressure and pulse. Another thing that you can do is keep a diary of the things that you eat.
